Minghini’s General Contractors, Inc. provides functions deemed necessary to support essential services as designated under 42 U.S.C. 5195c (e). Per West Virginia Executive Order 9-20, essential businesses and services are to continue to operate at this time in order to maintain critical infrastructure.

As such, Minghini’s will continue operations while staying in compliance with the latest government directives and CDC recommendations.

Craig Collis



Craig Collis is a General Contractor who began his career on the Minghini’s construction team before moving into the position of Construction Supervisor—a role his own father had once held for many years. He purchased Minghini’s General Contractors, Inc. in 1988 with his partner and wife, Berniece, and has served as the company’s president since that time. In his role, Craig oversees the management of all major projects and timelines, ensuring that performance from start to finish meets and exceeds client expectations. He leads the overall operations and manages resources for Minghini’s while cultivating strategic business relationships.

Vice President


Berniece Collis has served as the Vice President of Minghini’s General Contractors, Inc. since the Collis family bought the company in 1988. She has responded to hundreds of job bids and built lasting relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers. She also maintains control over much of the day-to-day office activity, working closely with office staff to ensure seamless internal operations. Additionally, Berniece has handled the promotion of and public and community relations for the company during her tenure. She remains heavily involved in the community and serves on several boards and community improvement initiatives.

Project Manager


After studying Construction Management at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Jacob Collis joined the family business as Project Manager. He brought with him experience from working in that same position with a company that specialized in project management. As Project Manager for Minghini’s, Jacob is responsible for the planning and overseeing of specific projects from beginning to end. These duties include managing budgets and supply orders, collaborating with subcontractors, and ensuring that all regulations are met while necessary permits are acquired. Jacob and his wife, small business-owner Tia, have one daughter, Savannah.

Site Manager


Morgan Collis received his Journeyman’s certification from Associated Builders and Contractor’s Apprenticeship Program and the Construction Management program. He now puts his skills and knowledge to good use as Site Manager for Minghini’s. Morgan works diligently to prepare work sites for construction to commence, organizing necessary site-specific activities. With every project, he creates detailed plans to ensure the team meets the agreed-upon specifications, budgets, and timelines. Morgan’s wife, Jennifer, works for Valley Health System, and together they are parents to Carlie and Boyd.
